The detail that matters most here is the second studio on the box. Warhammer Survivors is made by Auroch Digital, the team behind Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, but the Steam page says it's built "in partnership with" poncle, the studio that made Vampire Survivors. Xbox Wire's Game Pass announcement credits poncle the same way. The other number worth knowing is the price: $7.99, with a 10% discount on most platforms around launch.
When does Warhammer Survivors come out?
Warhammer Survivors launches on November 10, 2026 on every platform at once, per Auroch Digital's release date announcement; the Warhammer Survivors release date page has the live countdown. Auroch's Bluesky post a week before launch lists Steam, GOG, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, and Android and iOS devices. Nothing is staggered: the console and mobile versions arrive the same day, and it sits on the November 2026 release calendar alongside the rest of the month's launches.
Warhammer Survivors release time: when does it unlock?
Auroch Digital hasn't announced a launch hour, but two console stores point to the same one: 10:00 UTC on November 10. The PlayStation Store lists that release time in the US, UK, German, Australian and Japanese storefronts, and the Xbox Store's pre-order offer runs until 09:59:59 UTC that morning. Steam, GOG and the Nintendo eShop show the date only, so treat this as console store data, not a confirmed worldwide time.

How much does Warhammer Survivors cost?
$7.99, £6.39 or €7.49, with prices that "may vary slightly per platform and region," Auroch says. That's already visible in the store listings: the PlayStation Store charges £6.49 in the UK and A$11.25 in Australia, while the Nintendo eShop asks £6.39 and A$11.50. There's 10% off in most places. Console pre-orders are discounted (PS5 and Xbox to $7.19 until launch), the Nintendo eShop keeps $7.19 in the US until the end of November 17 (Pacific time), and Auroch says Steam will take 10% off for the first week after launch.

The Xbox Store listing also flags the game as Xbox Play Anywhere, so one purchase covers both Xbox and the Windows PC version there. GOG and the App Store listing for iOS don't show a price yet.
Is Warhammer Survivors on Game Pass?
Yes, from day one. Xbox Wire's November 2026 wave 1 post lists Warhammer Survivors for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, Handheld and PC on November 10 in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. The same wave adds Football Manager 27 Console on November 10, the day FM27 fully launches after its Launch Preview.
What's in Warhammer Survivors?
It's a bullet-heaven survival game: you try to outlast waves of enemies for as long as you can, collecting gold that makes future runs stronger. The Steam store page lists more than 40 playable characters from Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar, including Boltgun's Malum Caedo, Commissar Yarrick and Neave Blacktalon, plus more than 75 weapons, multiple modes and stages, and screen-filling bosses such as Ghazghkull Thraka.
Each stage has its own enemy faction, from Tyranids and Skaven to the Gloomspite Gitz Auroch revealed alongside the release date. Weapons evolve when combined with the right power-ups, and Warhammer paint pots found on the battlefield unlock new character forms. One stage leans into the hobby side completely: Auroch calls it the Hobby Table stage, with a literal digital tabletop.
Is there a Warhammer Survivors demo, and does it work on Steam Deck?
Yes to both. A demo is on Steam now, with two champions added in October, the Legend of Catachan and Lyssa Ravenya, but Auroch says demo progress won't carry over to the full game. Auroch also announced in October that the game is Steam Deck Verified. The PC minimum spec is light: Windows 10 64-bit, a 2.4 GHz dual-core CPU, 4 GB of RAM, a GTX 750 and 5 GB of storage. Steam and the Xbox Store list it as single-player, and none of Auroch's announcements we read mention co-op.
What we don't know yet
- The official launch hour on Steam, GOG, the Nintendo eShop and mobile. Only the PlayStation and Xbox stores show a time.
- The price on iOS and Android, and whether the mobile versions have in-app purchases.
- Whether Steam's launch-week discount starts at the same time as the console release.
