How this site reports
What our stories are built from, who checks them, and what happens when we get something wrong.
Where stories come from
Reporting here starts from primary sources wherever one exists: the publisher’s own announcement, the official blog post, the store listing, the patch notes, the developer statement, the earnings call. Coverage built on another outlet’s write-up inherits that outlet’s mistakes, so we go to the thing itself.
Where a story rests on a public announcement, we link it in the article so you can read the original and judge it yourself. If a claim cannot be traced to something you are able to check, it is described as unconfirmed, and we say who is reporting it.
Checking before publication
Every article is read and checked by a person before it goes live. That check covers the specifics that are easiest to get wrong and matter most: prices, dates, platform availability, what is actually included in a bundle or edition, and whether the headline claim is genuinely supported by the source. Anything that does not hold up is corrected or cut before publishing.
Corrections
We will get things wrong. When that happens the fix is the priority, not the excuse.
- Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed, and the article’s modified date updates with the change.
- Corrections that change the substance of a story, a wrong price, a wrong date, a wrong claim about what something contains, are noted in the article rather than quietly edited away.
- Typos, broken links and formatting are fixed without a note. Nobody needs a correction notice about a missing comma.
To report something that looks wrong, email gameoverinteractiveofficial@gmail.com with the article and what you believe the correct information is. Corrections are read before anything else in the inbox.
Independence
No coverage on this site is paid for, and no publisher, developer or PR agency has any say in what gets written or how. Nothing published here has been submitted for approval before going live.
If that ever changes, if a piece is sponsored, produced in partnership, or carries an affiliate arrangement, it will be labelled clearly on the article itself, not buried on this page.
Analysis and opinion
Some articles go past what was announced into what it means, whether a price is out of step with the market, whether a pattern is repeating across a publisher’s releases. That is interpretation, and it is written to be recognisable as such. Facts and reading of the facts are kept visibly separate.
Images and footage
Screenshots, key art and trailers are the property of their respective publishers and developers, used to illustrate reporting about the games they come from, and credited where the source is known.
